Water Sort: compare the exposed layers before a pour

Available on

Read the exposed layer

Look at the first Level 1 picture on the game page. The first bottle has orange above yellow, while the second has green above orange and yellow. Although both contain yellow, neither presents yellow at the top. The tutorial’s same-color rule applies to the exposed layers. Choosing a destination by a shared buried color ignores the obstacle that must be removed first.

Ask what becomes available next

The separate pouring picture shows yellow going into the left bottle, with orange and green already isolated elsewhere. Use it to form a planning question: after a layer moves, which color becomes exposed, and where could it go?

Do not invent a spare-bottle rule

The captured bottles have different fill levels. Before treating an apparently empty space as usable capacity, check the active game’s response. A useful plan identifies both the displaced color and a receiving bottle, rather than assuming any bottle can accept any quantity. Next and Main Menu appear on the Level 2 result; neither is an undo button.
